So I get a new phone and my laptop dies...HA!
I guess it wanted to die anyway, it had a good run tho. 6 years is a long time with no problems so I can't even be mad.

But, let it be known I hate DELL. They stupid ass customer service got it coming. When I was on the phone to figure out what's wrong they too busy tryna sell me shit.
At first I was just gonna repair my computer, but the $$ for that could be a whole new system - so eff it.
Now dude was so busy tryna sell me extra parts n I tell him I'm getting a new one and don't need it - this prick orders it anyway! Then says I gotta wait 24hrs to cancel the order...ok cool.
I call the next morning and these dumb fucks already charged me & shipped it.
I am also listening to Lil Wayne & B.I.G. and they're telling me these ppl need to die lol.
I get angry and this fool tells me to be professional - if ya'll did your job i'd have no need to be upset.
I've calmed down now but yesterday I was ready to fly to India and off every single person in the customer service sweatshop with no problem.
Now I just gotta wait til its delivered, send it back, THEN get my money back...ugh...wooosaaahhh...

My [play] Lil Brother (who is also my future ex-husband) went on his prom last week, I'll have some picz once my computer gets here. He's also just announced he's going to Kansas for school. His mom is angry and won't sign the papers , but he'll be fine. I believe he has a basketball scholarship too, so that's good. His graduation is next Friday!

Madam Charis did a talent show last night @ Drexel and she did a marvelous job. I helped by singing backup w/ her other friend, she also had a drummer, guitar, and piano...do it big ma'am. She sang Need You Bad by Jazmine Sullivan...good stuff...too bad it wasn't a competition cuz we sure would've won!

This morning I was greeted with the information that my boss’ mother passed away.

At the age of 54 she was taken away by a heart attack. It comes as a shock to all since besides smoking ciggz [cigarettes are bad that’s why they raised the taxes!] she was of good health. It’s also a double edged sword since Mother’s Day was this past Sunday.

It made me sit and think because my own parents are around that age and for the most part healthy individuals.

I have my ill-feelings and dislikes of my mother but I’d never want her to die. It’s not the best but she is still my mother which is why I kept fighting so hard for her.

This major change in another person’s life reaffirmed my need and desire to cherish everything. I’ll try my best not to hold grudges and be full of resentment and just appreciate the fact I and the rest of my family are here. I’m going to be jubilant in knowing my Daddy is never too far for me to reach him.

I yet again recognize Life Is Too Precious. Tomorrow is not a promise. Have fun everyday.

Make sure your children always know how much you love them and I'm sure your day or weekend activities will be a great time. I was nice to my Mother and gave her some flowers and a card. It was a blank card that I wrote a short, sweet, & honest message to her. I believe it was appreciated and my Dad was proud of me as well.

On some music ish....Our wonderful couple from Making The Band [Que & Dawn] are starting to make names from themselves as great songwriters apart [Que wrote Perfectly Blind for Day26's Forever In A Day album & Dawn wrote Lights Out and co-wrote on Danity Kane's final album] and together. They now also prove they can make a great song and sing it together. It's a great song and if it wasn't such a music industry jinx I'd say they could make a whole album together...we'll see what happens tho.

I got mad at my short hair and got NEW hair…if you haven’t already noticed. I loved the easy maintenance, but I love length [probably why the Lord never lets me keep it…BLAH!]

I finally had to come right out and tell my co-worker I won’t date him, because his ‘subtle hints’ were getting gay now, and ignoring them didn’t help (..guess that was playing hard to get..?)

I inform him because we work together I won’t do it. He decides to argue the fact we don’t work in the same office - it doesn’t count.

I clarify my statement by saying as long as we both work for this COMPANY…I will not date him…now he wants to keep a low profile and go to the movies..WTF?!!!

I’m breaking it down as much as possible and staying civil…but he just believes since his ex worked at his last job it’s ok everywhere with everybody…[not me buddz…sorry]

It sucks because now he REALLY won’t look at me and we don’t even bullshit to pass the time anymore. It’s exactly what I didn’t want if things went left and I got it anyway.

Now recognize there’s nothing wrong with him…I’m not being picky – just smart.

It kinda goes with my preferences [which are picky]. Although it doesn’t buffer all the drama that can ensue it helps a little that if I date an individual - they don’t know the same people I do. Call it possible paranoia or a lesson from experience, but I don’t need the familiar friends conferencing about us or feeling because they know us both and are comfortable they have the right to over-step their boundaries which doesn’t fly with me. I just like keeping everyone in their own worlds and none of them meet until I find it necessary or it’s something I can’t control. Drama can and will rear its ugly head in any situation…but like I said, it does help.

You do your thing and I’ll do mine then we’ll comfortably meet in the middle…that’s my ideal anyway…

Since it's May it's time for my annual photoshoot to shop around for my summer gigs. As a present to myself I'm booking myself a shoot w/ Glamour Bitch Photography for my Birthday. She does great pin-up shots with hair makeup and wardrobe and I've alwayyyyyys wanted to do that. If I like this one, I'll end up going to another photographer I found who said she'd have me in a Billie Holiday-esque shot which sounds verryyyyyy awesome.
